ASIS Detroit Chapter - Welcome Welcome and thank you for visiting the Detroit Chapter of ASIS International website. Founded in 1955, ASIS International is the preeminent organization for security professionals, dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by providing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests. The Detroit Chapter is also dedicated to providing the very best in monthly educational programs at little or no cost to our members. Chapter meetings are held six times a year in conjunction with the education programs. In addition, we host a number of networking events including ASIS Detroit Hockey Night and the Annual ASIS Detroit Chapter Golf Outing at Reddeman Farms. While we have a number of great programs scheduled, the ASIS Detroit Chapter can only be successful with your active participation. Becoming a member and attending meetings, training and events is an excellent way to get connected and stay connected with other security professionals in the Detroit area and around the world. In addition we are always looking for active members to participate on committees and in Chapter leadership roles. I look forward to meeting all of you at the next meeting or event.
